Last night, a guy named “Paz” is claiming he crashed Paris Hilton’s birthday party and made off with the cake! The crasher “Paz” posted a detailed account of the hiest on his Facebook page this morning when he awoke and found the enormous cake in his apartment (he was a tad wasted). Now, don’t worry too much all you Paris fans out there – the birthday girl actually had more than one cake. Paz made his great escape with trickery, deceit and a Jedi mind-trick on the event’s security, walking right past several hired guards with an authoritative look any good cake-removal-professional would have, and out the front door to his friends Nissan and rode all the way home with the cake on his lap.

I brush shoulders with the guy who resembles the head of security… “Hey man,” I say to him with an air of I-know-what-I’m-doing. “The cake is in that room, right?” “Yes, sir,” he acknowledges with a slight bow toward the rear of the house. I take my cue and make a bullet for cake city… In one fluid motion, I sidestep a confused waiter, seize the prize, and about face to the door… I pass the security chief again on the way out… I nod purposefully… he nods in return… 40 seconds later I’m in the front seat of a Nissan Maxima with 70 lbs. of awesome in my lap. Success.

Failblog, Gawker, Perez Hilton, ET and The Insider readers have been commenting on the story all day. Reactions have ranged from “Epic” to “Give this man a medal” to “Everything about this is awesome” … but Perez Hilton had an alternate stance on his blog scolding Paz for crashing a birthday and stealing property.

So the story goes, Paz was told by one of the wait staff that the cake would most likely get thrown out because there was a second larger cake being served to guests. This article is hilarious, well written and the pictures are a nice touch but I can’t help but wonder if this story is entirely true. Paz, did you really “steal” the cake …? I almost think maybe he was offered to take the cake home at the end of the party because it would have been thrown out or was perhaps he was one of the waiters.
