Hyde Lounge at Staples Center opens this Friday but that didn’t stop them from having an intimate soft-opeing of Hyde Lounge last Tuesday, October 27, for the first game of the season: Lakers vs. Clippers. The newest addition to The SBE Collection, opening in October 2009, Hyde Lounge at the Staples Center debuts as an innovative partnership between Sam Nazarian’s SBE and AEG, one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world. The exclusive, opulently-designed space debuts as a redefined social viewing concept, a
veritable jewel box perched atop the arena opposite stage end on the upper suite level.
Hyde Lounge will inject a new form of a luxury experience while viewing a game or concert,
inside one of the world’s most famous arenas.
Modeled after its famed predecessor on Sunset Boulevard, Hyde Lounge Staples will be co-designed by sports architect Rossetti and interior design firm Studio Collective, with ledge
seats overlooking the bowl and a masculine yet warm design of rich cascading fabrics,
serpentine leather furnishings, edgy hand-carved finishes and ceilings trimmed with onyx,
mirror and gold tile. Special events and tableside bottle service thrive in almost 4,000 square feet of space, featuring two salons, a dancehall and a private ‘great room’ replete with rosewood walls, curated art and floating LCD TV screens. Featuring exciting cuisine and drinks intrinsic to the SBE model, the new lounge will offer choice selections from popular SBE restaurants like ‘Katsuya by Starck’, alongside premium mixology and ultra exclusive tableside bottle service synonymous with SBE Nightlife venues. In combining a sexy, sophisticated ambiance, with the views of some of the world’s greatest events, concerts, shows and sports events, with superior service standards, unique energy
and superior sounds – with the opening of Hyde Lounge, a night out at The Staples Center is now a complete experience whether before, during or after the event. http://www.sbe.com/hydestaples
