New Restaurant Outs Notorious L.A. Times Food Critic

Easily the news of the week in L.A. – an L.A. Times Food critic was turned away from new restaurant Red Medicine for her reputation of scathing reviews; but not before taking her photo and posting it on their website and sending it to the entire food industry and media in L.A. Some say this was a stupid move, others call the owners genius and ballsy and say “good call” to a food critic who has put restaurants out of business. The Red Medicine website says the photo will give other restaurants the opportunity to avoid her owners took a pic of her “unnecessarily harsh reviews.” – Read the LA Times response.

Truffle Loves: New al Fresco Fitness Center at the Four Seasons

There are all these times when I sit at my house debating if I should go running outside or go to my gym. The gym has my favorite yoga teacher but why would I drive all the way to the gym when I could just walk out my front door and be in the fresh air? But I hate jogging and running into my neighbors and there is no incline. Of course there could be a cute boy walking his dog. But there is no where with more men than the gym. Hmmm …

I recently found a pretty good happy medium to the inside vs outside workout. Continue reading
