James Franco + Gus Van Sant + Gucci + Gagosian Art Opening – ok so, in addition to being cast in the new Wizard of Oz (according to Perez Hilton), opening his own bar this weekend in L.A. (according to Showbiz44), James Franco has being doing unusual art shows lately. We all saw the random Three’s Company art installation he did at Sundance and now this new art exhibit which officially opens today is all outtakes and never seen before b-roll of River Phoenix in My Own Private Idaho, which was directed by Gus Van Sant, who also directed Good Will Hunting, Milk and had a cameo appearance in one episode of Entourage.
