Vanity Fair Hollywood: Oscars® Edition App
This year, Vanity Fair has a week long “Campaign Hollywood” (which we will tell you more about as it happens next week) and will be accompanied by the new Vanity Fair Hollywood: Oscars® Edition app for the iPhone and iPad. This tool will give updates of the nominees, parties and other tidbits between now and the Academy Awards next Sunday February 27th, 2011. The app gives analysis of each nominee, links to trailers of nominated films, Voting pools on Oscar night, links to iMDB of actors and films and live coverage of the Vanity Fair parties with videos and images.

Voting pools are always a highlight of Oscar night. The new Vanity Fair app makes choosing winners across all categories more fun than ever, as it allows you to make picks and get real-time results in the palm of your hands. Improved social-media features allow users to share their votes through Twitter, Facebook, and e-mail. Of course, the Vanity Fair Oscar app wouldn’t be complete without exclusive coverage of the Vanity Fair party. Exclusive videos and images from Hollywood’s biggest bash will be updated throughout the night in the app’s Features section.
