The Minx manicure is what started my whole diy nail insanity! You know Minx, worn by avid fans such as Katy Perry, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Eve, Megan Fox, Mariah Carrey, Blake Lively, Fergie, etc…. A few weeks ago, I went to Extremedy’s nail salon, in West Hollywood, for a professional Minx mani. DIY: Jean Jackets Vests!!

What you will need:

  1. Scissors
  2. Glue gun / glue
  3. Chain pieces from International Silks and Woolens on Beverly Blvd or the bead store around the corner (around $7)
  4. Denim jacket or vest from your closet or a thrift store like Wasteland on Melrose (around $20)
  5. 20 minutes

How to do it:

  1. Use scissors to cut of shoulder – they will fry naturally when you wash the jacket *do this before you add chains
  2. Glue gun chains to either side of one breast pocket
  3. Glue chains across the back of the jacket
  4. If you are feeling adventours cut out the back panel as seen on this jean jacket from Forever 21

DIY: Pink Hair Extensions!!

Want to rock some pink extensions? Come on over! My roommate Ava- who does mine- she is excellent – will do you … $250 for the hair and $100 to put them in … xoxo it’s pretty fun!!! Step1: Select, buy and drive to my house

Step 2: Attach hair low

Step 3: Make sure you have plenty of workspace

Step 4: Either hot fused plastic tubes of clamped metal tubes

Step 5: Hair!!!!!!

Today, dear trufflers, I bring you a fun and chic DIY.

This is totally up my ally…. Fashion-ish + arts and crafts = My fav past times! (LOVE origami aussi)

At first, I was a tad confused, but then I put my ‘thinking bow cap’ on and got started.

1. Exacto knife

2. Scissors

3. Rubber cement (optional)

4. Tape

5. My nails

You can use the templates below, or go to the Hermes website and download the templates.  The templates below will need to be blown up just a bit as I couldn’t get the whole image as one.

2 hooks to fasten in ear
