Sightings: On Friday we saw Mary J Blige leaving while Aziz Ansari barely made it past the lines in the snow. Saturday we saw Danny Masterson late night on the red carpet, Paris Hilton at the first table in front of Kaskade with brother Baron Hilton and his girlfriend, Lil Jon at a table a little further back, James Marsden at a table across from Lil Jon’s, Aaron Paul, Malin Akerman, Drake, Kristen Dunst and Garrett Hedlund, Harvey Weinstein, Estelle, Blythe Danner, Angela Kinsey, Donald Faison, Chris Rock, Common, Cisco Adler, Jamie Chung, Olivia Thrilby, Mechad Brooks, Aaron Paul, Emma Roberts, Lizzy Caplan, Cuba Gooding Jr., Christina Hendriks and husband Geoffrey Arend, Julie Delpy, Teresa Palmer, Wilmer Valderama, Allison Janney (West Wing), Spike Lee, Danny Masterson, Robin Thicke, Ben Lyons, Mario Lopez, Rashida Jones, Quincy Jones (in town for Rashida’s new film — by coinicidence, we were greeted in our hotel room with a gift basket of Phylia prodcuts from Quincy’s other daughter. Her name is Kidadda and she has a new business venture with friend and partner Kazu Namise). In true Lady Gaga fashion (no pun intended), this video both intrigued and confused me…1/2 Girl Interrupted and Black Swan 1/2 Gaga’s creative insanity, Ms. Gaga has definitely not disappointed with this 13 minute long eye opening ‘oh so dramatic’ vid for Marry The Night.

So, Google and Tmobile announced Google Music yesterday… What other way to celebrate slash get the word out than by having a huge blow out event in LA spearheaded by none other than Brent Bolthouse. I have been to 10+ Tmobile events over the past years with performances by The Strokes, Kanye West, The Raconteurs, Stone Temple Pilots, Fall Out Boy, etc but this one was different. Between the fun music performances, the crazy detailed and completely covered walls of Brainwash studio (Yes, all 80,000 sq feet), delish food, and having a life time reunion (with quite a few people who threw me off) …. you might say Sensory Overload!

So, who came by Mr. Brainwash’s studio? Michelle Kath in development on doc about her dad – ‘Chicago’ guitarist Terry Kath (1946 – 1978) – ‘Searching for Terry: Discovering a Guitar Legend’

Friend of the Truffle Michelle Kath Sinclair is in hot pursuit of making a documentary about the most underrated guitarist of all time, her father. Chicago guitarist Terry Kath died in 1978 at age 31–two years after Michelle was born.

Fundraising for this film project is being (conducted using) the new film and arts financing website Kickstarter. Guitar aficionados and Chicago fans alike should appreciate having the opportunity to help this legend finally get his due.

You can help Michelle with small donations beginning at $25. Larger ones such as $2500 will buy you perks such as invitations to the premiere and Terry Kath memorabilia that Michelle has from her childhood. By design, if the target fundraising goal is not met your money will be returned by Kickstarter. Nine days are left in this fundraising drive. Thus far the project has raised $30,160 of it’s $40,000 target. Fans and friends can donate through October 30.
