Daphne Guinness Exhibition at FIT

FIT unveiled it’s newest exhibit to a crowd of stalwart fashion followers … who better to appreciate a collection of Daphne Guinness’ more museum worthy ensembles? We hadValentino, W Editor Stefano TonchiZac PosenChristian SirianoBob Colacello and the ethereal Mary McFadden mingling with fashion students who seemed to have planned their outfits many weeks in advance ……

A big supporter of design renegades; the grouping included Armour that highlighted outfits byHogan and Gareth Pugh. Making a big presence was, no surprise, Alexander McQueen in the grouping of Black White FormalWear, think tuxedos, etc. …

On display were a variety of the sky scaper monster heels Guinness is known for; many custom made for her by Natasha Marro. Please stop by if you are the city in the next few week; you won’t be disappointed!
