Um, James Franco’s Arrived by Hot Air Balloon to the “Oz” Premiere

Now that we have this information, we are not fully sure what to do with it. Does this mean we don’t need a subway or smart cars, James? Because we’re totally ok with that.

While everyone else in LA was happily Instagramming from their Ubers, Topshop London cabs, and Tommy Hilfiger customized Grand Jeep Wagoneers last night, James was down at the hot air pump filling up his whip.

After re-thinking our lives we quickly were distracted by the yellow brick road leading up to the premiere at the El Capitan theater (nice work Disney, we’re impressed). 

Although we’d be even more impressed if there were ever-lasting gob-stoppers in the gift bags. Maybe something to address at your next staff meeting?

All this while Jeff Beacher’s little crew of Oopma Loopa’s performed their nightly variety act next door at the Roosevelt Hotel in the basement where Beacher’s Madhouse lives.

Truffle Notes: An after party ensued later on with a two-gig performance from Guns N’ Roses at the Soho House and then late night at a home in Bel-Air.
