On Friday, 41 Ocean officially opened their doors (after being unofficially open to friends and sneak peaks for a little while) and had a grand hurrah on Friday night with a showing from the likes of Mamie Gummer (that is Meryl Streep’s daughter) and Larry David. This brings about one of three new members club in the area with the old haunt Michael’s being turned into an investor-only restaurant with shares being sold like stock and the possible soon-to-be-if-permits-and-funding-prevail Venice Social Club … you know, the one in Angelica Houston’s old house.
