Last night proved New York is getting back on it’s feet after Sandy with major events and parties popping back up across the NYC scene. W Magazine threw a party to commemorate their 40th anniversary at the Gramercy Park Hotel, which attracted Miranda Kerr, Diane Von Furstenberg, Amanda Hearst and One Model Management’s Scott Lips. In addition, Etro launched it’s new fragrance at the Etro boutique on Green Street in SoHo, and Scene Magazine celebrated GuestOfAGuest’s Rachelle Hruska’s November cover.
But while Scene Magazine and W Magazine attracted socialites, models and scenesters … the best party that dominated the week was held uptown at the Metropolitan Museum of Art: The annual Apollo Circle Benefit once again proving why its among the best events of fall, the event (Commemorating the theme of Siren’s Spell) attracted the city’s most posh, upscale scene including socialites Hannah Bronfman, Jessica Stam, Hillary Rhoda and Alex Acquavella among others. A mix of models and Upper East Siders drank champagne and dazzled in stunning black tie in the superlative Temple of Dendur wing of the Met.
