Last week in Los Angeles, Chanel re-staged their Resort 2013 show held in Paris in a section of Versailles normally not open to the public. For the L.A re-enactment, Chanel found the garden of real estate mogul Alan Casden and philanthropist Susan Casden, who have hosted events for Chanel in Los Angeles before.
Amoung the guests spotted at the show were: Carla Sands, Colleen Bell, Chris McMillan, Shiva Rose, Jenni Kayne, Suzanne Kayne, Ricki Ring, Christine Chiu, Monique Lhuillier, and more.
Susan’s tennis courts were were transformed with gravel, topiary, giant fountains to resemble the palace gardens of Versaille. The models were styled with their original wigs by L.A.’s favorite hair guru Chris McMillan. According to Women’s Wear Daily, all 49 looks presented at the Casden estate all available at Saks Fifth Avenue who co-hosted the event which benefited Aviva Family and Children’s Services.
