This weekend in Los Angeles was home to an Obama traffic scare that turned out to be not so bad. President Barack Obama, Katy Perry, Earth, Wind & Fire, Jon Bon Jovi, Jennifer Hudson held court at the Nokia before he adjourned for a private dinner next door at WP24 atop the Ritz Carlton downtwon. The special fundraiser concert to support his re-election campaign also featured other stars performing and George Clooney who gave an speech. The private dinner that followed was $25,000 per person and attended by Seth Macfarlane, George Clooney, Harvey Weinstein and more.

The other must-see concert last night was Florence and the Machine at the Hollywood Bowl. People were coming off a hot day of polo at Will Rogers state park from the day before. Those in the camps of the Vueve Cliquot event hosts; Cameron Silver, Rachel Zoe or Nacho Figueras sat in gorgeous tents with an Indian fleet of butlers on lounge seats and swings whilst the rest of L.A. sat under orange umbrellas flanking the grass on the opposite side of the field after a restless shuttle journey from a neighboring high school. All sides met in the middle for a divot stomp during half time.
