Villa on Melrose Place has been under constructions for months but recently re-opened as Vignette and our THs have been going in full effect … Reza (Roohi) and his investing team have outdone themselves — the inside is gorgeous and has an old theater vibe with sandbags and curtain ropes on the walls, his / her bathrooms that read Humphrey Bogart and Veronica Lake, a facade stage is the DJ area, and a popcorn machine upstairs starts rumbling late night.
The same ol’ skinny balcony upstairs has the loge seats where you can dip down in front of a table and snuggle into a booth. Amazing use of space. The DJ is now set up downstairs and you can over see him at work …
Right now, Vignette is open on Wednesdays, Fridays (Hartwell handles the door on Fridays) and Saturdays. Lots of Beverly kids spotted, some celebs, music industry people, etc.
Best thing in L.A. right now.
#TruffleNotes:
A wall of Louis XIII de Rémy Martin lines a wall upstairs.
One table popped 14 bottle of Cristal at the same time for everyone.
They only have female bartenders upstairs and they wear these mermaid pasties things.
$30 credit card minimum … but the drink are pretty inexpensive.
Leo (di Caprio) was an investor in Villa, and is unknown to be involved this time around. Comment below if you know.
