You all know the Truffle like a good conference … be it the annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting in Omaha (yes, people totally go to it), or the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, or Michael Milken’s future summit in Bev Hills … another one of our favorites all year long is every July and is held by Herb Allen, who according to Gawker lives in the Carlyle (in NY) and has gotten rich off of Oprah, Coca-Cola, Columbia Pictures, and birth control (via the company that makes the pills).
The conference is a time when leaders of industry and government converge to share ideas and do a little skeet shooting. There is no one who sums up the activities of the ‘mogul conference’ better than our friends over the Manka Bros Chairman’s blog but here are some pics and #trufflenotes!
