Our friends running the Kitsune/Flaunt party sent out emails announcing the location was changed from Smoke & Mirrors to Room 86 and announced that Smoke & Mirrors is moving back to the OG Paul & Andre’s spot “at least for now.”

UPDATED: Paul Sevigny’s Smoke & Mirrors was originally suppose to reign where pop-up Paul & Andres (aka #pandas) stood for it’s 8-month “Oscar party” … It was tres disappointing when they wound up at the Standard instead and the P&As spot was changed to something called Room 86 (boooo).
We are v excited to see the club back in it’s natural habitat – although the entrance is no longer on the alley and is now through the front on Hollywood Blvd.
Here’s a timeline for those who need a little more background:JAN ’11: Paul Sevigny (club owner in NYC) & Andre Savaria (club owner in Paris) open “Paul & Andre’s” on the property of the old Ivar club with entrance on Cosmo St in the back
AUG ’11: “Paul & Andre’s” closes with talk of re-opening in a permanent location
SEPT ’11: Property owners of the “Paul & Andre’s” re-open it as “Room 86″ — without Paul or Andre
Nov ’11: Paul Sevigny opens “Smoke & Mirrors” in the Standard on Sunset
JUN ’12: Promoters for “Smoke & Mirrors” abruptly email everyone before a major party the day of — and announce the location of the party was moved to “Room 86″ — and said “Smoke & Mirrors” is moving to “Room 86″ — at least for now.
