Chanel and MOCA host Rooftop Bash for the Upcoming Gala Nov 13th!

The event was a Chanel Fine Jewelry cocktail party from 6:30-8:30 hosted by Maria A. Bell, Nancy Marks, Carolyn Powers, and Lilly Tarikoff Karatz in honor of MOCA‘s annual gala on November 13th and their latest exhibit, “The Artist’s Museum Happening”.

The invite read “experience the new high jewelry collection, Plumes De Chanel, inspired by the beauty of a feather, a motif interpreted by mademoiselle Chanel for her debut collection in 1932.”

The entire party was upstairs on the rooftop, which has white walls covered with Chanel’s signature CC logo (in this photo they look like round white dots!), and plenty of food and drinks.

The gift bags contained the book “Chanel and her world: Friends, Fashion, and Fame.”

New MOCA director Jeffrey Deitch was there along with the party hosts, modern art collectors, MOCA patrons and the usual suspects including: Homeira and Arnold Goldstein, Cameron Silver, MOCA publicist Lynn Winter, Chanel pubicist Annie Meyers-Shyer, and Will Kopelman, the son of Chanel CEO Arnold Kopelman and friend of the Truffle.
