Dear all our Jewish, half-Jewish and non-Jewish friends out there tonight, headed out to your aunts’/ uncles’/ Hillcrest/ Brentwood/ your best friends house, your dad’s new wife/ your ex-step so-and-so’s for temple and or dinner,
On your way to Temple Emanuel, Steven S. Weiss, and Wilshire Blvd., or on your way to get desserts from the Crescent Bakery, or the kosher bakeries on Pico west of Robertson , we just wanted to say thanks to all of our fans/readers/rabbai’s/ out there who have made this last year a great one for us.
We also wanted to thank the city of Beverly Hills, for being one of the only cities in the US to cancel school on all Jewish Holidays, including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kipor, and Norooz aka Persian New Year. (You can imagine me telling me family in other states that I didn’t have to go to school today because It was Norooz)
TODAY is the first day of Rosh Hashanah, the holiday that marks the beginning of the Jewish new year, and goes through the next 10 days, to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.
Happy New Year Truffelers !
