Weekend report:
I spent my Saturday in Malibu … Friend and fellow LA Native and Malibu Colony neighbor Chad Rogers finally sold the Wells Fargo party pad for $14,950,000. En route back to B.H. I got a text from a friend at the Jonathan Club’s annual summer luau in Santa Monica.
Eminem won a Teen Choice award (Choice Music: Rap/Hip-Hop Track) for his controversial video “Love The Way You Lie” with Rihanna, Megan Fox & Dominic Monaghan. The Teen Choice awards at Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City was followed by an after party sponsored by DoSomething.org hosted by Nikki Blonski and a performance by We the Kings.
Zenyatta – the Princess and Queen of horse racing – and close to being the biggest legend ever in racing history- won her 3rd consectuive Clement Hirsch Stakes last Saturday at Del Mar (something no other horse has ever done or probably will ever do) – adding to her perfect 18 victory record – owners Jerry & Ann Moss.

I spoke with Jennifer Rogers – the great-granddaughter of Will Rogers, actor and the first mayor of Beverly Hills - this afternoon … she has set up a foundation to raise money for the Will Rogers park in the Palisades – where me and many of my friends learned to ride – to make the horse stables, polo field prettier and cooler. This weekend she is celebration the opening of the new gift shop and visitors center with a special party Friday night and Clicquot sponsored polo match Sunday.
