WHAT: Tonight, Crest and Oral-B 3D White presented the Breakthrough of the Year Awards, which celebrated a diverse range of extraordinary talent in multiple fields of excellence including film, TV, sports, music, the arts, technology, philanthropy and social media.
Crest and Oral-B 3D White presented the 2010 “Breakthrough Standout Performance” Award to rising Female Hollywood Star, AnnaLynne McCord. RealD was honored with the “Breakthrough in Technology” award for the significant impact its breakthrough 3D technology has had on our lives in cinema and a new generation of 3D consumer electronics. Global Green USA received the “Breakthrough in Green Innovation” Award for their work on greening schools across the US, including Los Angeles, New Orleans and San Francisco. Green schools protect child and teacher health, increase student performance by as much as 25%, increase average daily attendance, reduce operating costs, improve teacher satisfaction and retention and reduce overall impact to the environment.
