Emily and I went to high school together at Westlake (before the merger) for one year in 7th grade before she transfered to Crossroads. We met up again in college at Boston University – she in the drama program and I in the College of Liberal Arts (CLA – or College of Lost Ambitions). Emily was a hot commodity in the drama program – many a man were wild for her. There was one in particular Warren who use to say her name repeatedly – Emily Daschanel – Emily Daschanel – as if the two words were one. Emily is dope. I don’t know her sister but the little one definitely has the ”it” factor. Their father Caleb Dashcenel is a rather important cinematographer – but don’t you jaded valley-ites or mid-westerners start accusing the family of nepotism. Some things acutally do require talent regardless of who you know and Hollywood is a tough town to penetrate no matter how many advantages you have.Zooey Deschanel is set to guest star (as “Margaret Whitesell”) on big sis Emily’s (“Dr. Temperance Brennan”) show Bones on December 10th, 2009. Fox set up a conference call with the girls and media to talk about the upcoming episode “The Goop on the Girl” in which Zooey Deschanel plays her sister’s newly discovered distant relative. This is the first on-screen pairing of the Deschanel sisters and it would be so great to see more sibling acts in the biz. I’m all for it! Go Wolverines/ Terriors (those are the mascots for Harvard Westlake and Boston University)!
Fox sent me some details about the show they act together in here:
When a man dressed as Santa Claus blows himself up during a botched bank robbery, Brennan and Booth work to identify the bomber and determine his motives. Meanwhile, Brennan makes plans to spend Christmas in El Salvador, but her father (guest star Ryan O’Neal) convinces her to spend the holidays with him and Margaret Whitesell (guest star Zooey Deschanel), a newly discovered distant relative, in the all-new “The Goop on the Girl” episode of BONES airing Thursday, Dec. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
