Last year they walked away with Best in Class for thier ’58 Ferrari. Here is Nic Kalikow’s report:
“Here it is: The Momo Mirage. In 1972 my father started the Momo car company and built six examples of the Mirage. This is no. 002″
“My father wasn’t feeling well so be told me to drive the Mirage to collect our award. First question: where the hell are the windshield wipers?”
Peter Kalikow taking the Mirage on a little spin though Italy.
“What colour interior for an emerald green car? Beige? Brown? How about neon green with dark green accents?”
“This Jetsons looking car is powered by a jet turbine. It was extremely sound and stank of jet fuel. And the owner was a bit of an ass. I called it Rocket Car, and everybody hated rocket car.”
Nicholas Kalikow lives in L.A. and is the CEO of Film 101 Productions, a feature and documentary production company in Beverly Hills focused on producing unconventional and unique documentaries along with groundbreaking independent feature films.
Until next year …
