Welcome to “Jumbolair“, the luxury “fly-in” residential community in the Thoroughbred Horse-breeding haven of Ocala, Florida. The 550 acre housing development has the longest private airstrip in the country at 7500 feet. 125 families live here, each in a multi-million dollar home, complete with their own air-traffic control tower and walk-in terminal for each house. Though Jumbolair is the nicest, there are 430 developments in total like this in the US with 22,000 homes. Besides the GulfStream II (N492JT) and Boeing 707-138B (N707JT) that you see in the photo, he also has an Eclipse 500 very light jet. Though his current fleet is only 3, he has owned 17 aircraft since 1970.The Eclipse registration N218JT seen here in formation with his 707.NB: JT in the registration obviously stands for John Travolta.
